CORONAVIRUS – 12th MARCH , 2020
Due to the current situation with the Coronavirus, we have made the decision that we can no longer offer face-to-face GP appointments for routine problems. You will be able to have a telephone consultation with the G.P. for any routine issues. Please phone the practice should you need to arrange a telephone consultation.
Should you be very unwell and feel you may require an urgent face-to-face GP appointment, please telephone the surgery. Our Reception Staff will take detailed information from you and arrange for a GP or Nurse to call you back. Where possible we will try to deal with your query safely over the phone in order to reduce the number of patients coming to the surgery. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY UNLESS YOU HAVE A PRE-ARRANGED APPOINTMENT.
In order to reduce footfall in the practice we would be grateful if you would provide the Reception Staff, when ordering prescirptions, a named pharmacy. The pharmacies will uplift prescriptions from us and take them to local shops for you to collect.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE TAKING THESE STEPS TO PROTECT THE MOST VULNERABLE PATIENTS WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY
