Supporting your recovery after COVID-19
As you find yourself recovering from COVID-19 you may still be coming to terms with the impact the virus has had on both your body and mind.
Coronavirus 19th May 2020 – Testing update
Everyone over the age of five with symptoms are eligible to be tested.
Testing for coronavirus (COVID-19) is to be opened out to everyone who is symptomatic over the age of five.
This means anyone who is displaying any of the three symptoms of COVID-19 – continuous cough, high temperature, or loss of sense of taste or smell – will be able to book a test at the drive-through or mobile test centres.
A limited number of home test kits are also available through this programme.
Tests can be booked online: www.nhs.uk/coronavirus

Coronavirus 12th March 2020
Due to the current situation with the Coronavirus, we are encouraging patients to phone us with any medical issues. You will be able to have a telephone or video consultation with the G.P. for any routine or urgent issues. Please phone the practice should you need to arrange a telephone or video consultation, the reception staff will take a note of your details and arrange for a clinician to call you back. If the clinician thinks that you need to be seen in person then they will allocate you an appointment to come into the Surgery. We are still open Monday to Friday to answer any health queries that you may have. There is also a link to NHSinform at the bottom right hand side of this page, you will find lots of health information on this site including a link to an isolation note if needed for your employer.
PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY UNLESS YOU HAVE A PRE-ARRANGED APPOINTMENT.
In order to reduce footfall in the practice we would be grateful if you would provide the Reception Staff, when ordering prescriptions, a named pharmacy. The pharmacies will uplift prescriptions from us and take them to local shops for you to collect.
We are still currently doing 6 week baby checks, B12 injections and necessary blood tests. At the moment the NHS have decided to postpone certain screening programmes such as bowel screening, breast screening, cervical smears and Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening (ultrasound of abdomen)
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE TAKING THESE STEPS TO PROTECT THE MOST VULNERABLE PATIENTS WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY
